This  Bohemian beauty is searching for her forever home. Here’s her story..

This vintage bamboo base once attached to a large foot stool, it has been painted with a mix of chalk paints predominantly Florence by Annie Sloan. It’s been heavily waxed to seal and buffed. Then had touches if gold shimmer wax and green verdigris powder to the binding ties all around the centre of the frame.

The table top is a large vintage brass pressed plate. It came up beautifully with a lot of elbow grease and Brasso, and has that aged deep gold metallic sheen to it. No heavy dark black patches to patina.

This brass plate sits beautifully on top of the bamboo base. It has felt discs attached to bottom at the moment as i like the idea that you can use it a ready made tray and deliver it to the table base. Also easier to clean. It sits on these perfectly and doesn’t wobble. But if you would rather it was attached with three small brass screws through the top then that can be easily done for you , no problem at all.

If you would like to do a socially distanced viewing at my workshop then that is fine and easy to arrange. I can just leave you to view. No obligation to buy at all.

Viewing is recommended as these pictures don’t do the detail and tone of the brass justice.
