“Lollipop! Lollipop! ooh Lolly Lolly Lolly”
Here we have ‘Lolly’ rocking her completely new look.
She is a vintage ‘Liden’ small chest of drawers made in the 1960s. She has been treated to new feet that I rescued from a 1990s unit and has a new top made from old 1960s parquet flooring. She was completely stripped of her decades of thick white gloss ready for the new colours that I chose for her. They kept reminding me of sweet shops and lollipops. Hence her name 😉
She certainly strikes you when you see her and brings a smile to your face, a completely unique piece that I can guarantee you will not find anywhere else. She’s one of a kind is our ‘Lolly’!
She has a mid grey eggshell frame and part top. ‘Thunder Cloud’ by Dulux. Her sides and new feet and original handles are painted in this dirty mustard eggshell, ‘Mustard Blanket’ by Dulux. And her drawer fronts are painted in a peachy pink eggshell, ‘Sunset Kiss’, by Dulux.
Her drawers have been lined in this Fabulous 1960s psychedelic fabric echoing the colours of ‘Lollys’ body beautifully
.
Who has a room that needs a colour pop with some fun injected into it?
 Â
She would work as a bedside table but would probably be a little higher than most.
