Here we have an original mid century dining table. This 1970s stunner is an extendable design, with the extra leaf hidden in the centre underneath, which neatly slides out and manually clicks in when needed. When not in use it does not restrict leg room when sat down.

I have completely stripped this back from a dark dry varnish top to reveal the sleek grain pattern of the teak veneer. The top has been coated in three coats of clear Osmo Oil with a very low sheen. Making it very durable and wipeable.

The Legs have been redesigned and painted in ‘Jack Black ‘ Little Greene Company, in an eggshell finish giving them a very slight sheen to echo the tops finish.

The table top is beautifully even in tone after its refinish and matches up when extended and un extended in tone. My camera is picking out slight un eveness in tones but this is not how the naked eye sees it at all. Viewing recommended if you are interested for this reason.

This table would comfortably suit a small family. A small dining space. City Living.

Equally would stand its own in a larger space with it’s strong simplistic design.

The pebble shaped top definitely mimics the Ercol style so a good option if you want an original mid century piece without the Ercol price tag. There are no furniture makers marks on it so i cannot confirm which company made it I’m afraid.

I’m happy to arrange a courier with you for this piece and will charge a small fee for packaging approx £15.

Viewings welcome or any other information needed just sent me a message through the contacts page to arrange.
