‘Bumble’ Heavy pine bookcase

Description

‘Bumble’ was an unwanted heavy pine bookcase covered in white chalk paint.

It’s been stripped back with the frame painted in a mustard eggshell with Little Greene Jack Black on bottom plinth  and details.

The shelves and top of the unit have had the Japanese Shou sugi ban technique applied  to highlight the grains and sealed in a wipeable clear matt finish

The slatted back board has been painted in alternate mustard and black stripes to make it pop!
