These 1940s Glamorous beauties are certainly rocking a Moroccan vibe now.  They  have been completely stripped down  and finished in Little Greene Company, Mid Azure green ( deep greeny blue turquoise) and Cordoba (deep rich burgundy purple) .  With Craig & Rose, bronze gold paint added to just the right places to add some subtle yet classy metallic detail. They have an extremely sleek finish that i’m extremely happy with.

The original veneered scalloped backs are finished with subtle brush stokes to meet in the middle at a diagonal , keeping the original shape and design of the chair still seen, even though they are rocking a whole new personality and chapter in their life.

The pads were dismantled, revealing sprung seats in fantastic order. They have been reshaped and with the original horse hair and new wadding. And then covered in a stunning quality  heavy black woven linen fabric.

They are comfortable to sit on as the sprung seats give you that little extra bounce 😉 And are extremely sturdy.

I can really see these living around a chunky rustic table, or a just in an eclectic slightly bohemian dining area.

Viewing recommended so that you can sit on them and see the quality of the finish.

I am able to socially distance as you can view my pieces in my workshop and i can leave you to it. No pressure to buy at all, please drop me a line if you would like to see them in their real life glory.
