This 1940’s – 1950s oak hall coat, umbrella and hat stand , is certainly feeling more Fabulous now she’s been Refunked.

She’s now now rocking a completely new finish. From dowdy years of dark grimy varnish to this joyful huge pop of  turquoise green.  It’s a deep vibrant mix of blues and greens toned deeper with faded blacks to age.

The two inlaid strips of carved wooden detail have been picked out in farrow and ball no.9 Light stone, Poison ivy, Dulux, Craig & rose, zeitgeist & Kitchen gold.

It’s all been then sympathetically aged to bring it back to looking more like it’s original age. With a mix of waxes all in just the right places.

Original iron hat and scarf hooks. 2 x umbrella stands

There is a little lid that lifts up to reveal a handy little storage  compartment. Handy for keys or a dog lead. It has been newly lined with a very plush designer deep turquoise/ teal velvet. The minute you open the lid you just want to touch the velvet it’s super tactile.

The mirror is in a fantastically naturally aged state.  The mottled patina around the edges is just perfect .The clips to hold mirror are all original. As are the top hooks.

This would add a  fabulous zing into someone’s entrance hall.
I highly recommend popping up and seeing this  with your own eyes if your interested. The photos do not do it justice.
