Next up for a full restoration and Refunk, is this early 1960s Austin suite full length mirror that tilts and beehive drawers.
This will be a sympathetic restoration. Lots of bare wood and subtle highlights of black.
It’s got some fabulous grain patterns underneath years of flaking varnish and silicone products.
It’s in a delicate stat3e at the moment. So not a piece i can be heavy handed with. The Veneer is so so dry it needs so much feeding to bring it back to it’s former glory. It has arrived just in time top be saved.
