Here’s an unusual piece! It’s heavy and beautifully hand carved. It was covered in years of horrid orange thick glossy varnish, It was desperate to be Refunked.
The mirrors have very slight ageing to them but this just adds to its character in my eyes.
It has been painted in ‘Cordoba’, Little Greene Company. Then highlighted and aged in gold wax with some hints of rose gold to tone into the deep rich purple, red, Aubergine tones of the Cordoba. The drawer at the bottom is a nice size to store little treasures and has a new brass etched knob.
