Renovation of 1950s stool

This was a commission, to completely refurbish and repair this once brown and broken 1950s high backed stool. It was in dire need of love. It had broken back joints and rotten pads.

After repairing where needed it was completely stripped of over 30yrs of varnish and  grime and the covered in beautifully soft bright red leather from and old 1980s leather jacket.

So pleased with this extremely sentimental commission. It’s now back in front of someones decks where it belongs, ready to rock out another 30 yrs !
