This Mid century Sherborne sewing box stool, still has its original black vinyl top and lipstick red lining complete with little tool pouch, in fantastic original state.
The outside of box was covered in a very dated brown wood effect vinyl coating. I have removed that and added a collage off 1920’s-1930’s magazine adverts all the way around it and sealed with a matt finish. Adverts range from Louis Vuitton to an advert for Toupets for men and women!
This is very sturdy can be used to sit on a s well as footstool. Handy for storage.
The legs have been stripped and sealed in Osmo Oil. And to finish its rocking this groovy vintage orange and rust coloured 1970’s tassel fringing!
