This little beauty is now in her forever home, here’s some pictures of her redesigned and refinished story here at Refunked & Fabulous.
This ‘Lebus’ 1960s design is so charming. I decided that she needed making glamorous with a dark frame painted uin ‘Jack Black’ by the Little Greene paint company. She then had a symapthetic refinish on the top and drawer front leaving a silky soft barewood finish.
I kept the glorious original handles on i cleaned them up and added a slight gold and green shimmer to them.
The body of ‘Marianne’ was then treated to subtle copper, rose gold and antique gold wax in just the right places accentuating her curvaceous figure..
