This vintage double bed is extremely heavy. Made from Walnut.
It has its side struts and slats.

I think it would look gorgeous with a black frame and sides. With the centre panels on the headboard and foot board sanded back to reveal the gorgeous walnut burr grain. Then treated to a bare wood finish.
